From Castles, Manors and Cathdrals down to Pillboxes, streetnames and small mounds I enjoy exploring every one and finidng its history.
For most of my life if I got to choose a day trip it would usually have some aspect of historical significance to it (even if I have been a number of times before, much to my families frustration). This section is about those sites I have been too outside of Essex and their histories. Maybe you know them and they are local to you or a site that you have been polanning to go to I hope you enjoy readin about them.
